Lupita Nyong'o Cast In John Woo's Remake of THE KILLER

According to Variety, Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong'o is set to star in the remake of THE KILLER. The film is set to be directed by John Woo. The original film, of the same title, came out in 1989. Read more about the news from Variety here!

Nyong'o will play the role of the assassin, originally portrayed by Chow Yun-Fat. The new script is from Eran Creevy, working off a draft by Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken.

Lupita Nyong'o is an esteemed actress, known for her roles in BLACK PANTHER, 12 YEARS A SLAVE (Academy Award), STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, and STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI.

Woo is a director, writer and producer. He is known for his work on the original THE KILLER, A BETTER TOMORROW, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 2, THE KILLER and ONCE A THEIF.
