In a touching tribute to Cory Monteith, Glee star Lea Michele donned a gold 'Finn' necklace during filming of an upcoming tribute episode to the late actor. The show, which will focus on Monteith's character Finn Hudson, is set to air Thursday, October 10th.

The actress shared a photo of herself wearing the jewel on Twitter along with the simple caption, 'Today...' (check out the photo at left)

The cast of Glee recently returned to the set of the long-running musical drama for its fifth season. Show creator Ryan Murphy told Deadline.com prior to shooting the special tribute, "There were a lot of things that we had to decide [for the memorial episode]. At one point, we were going to have his character die after an accidental drug overdose -- that was something we had considered. But we have decided that we're not going to have him pass from that."

Set entirely in Lima, Ohio, home of fictional McKinley High, where Hudson enjoyed four years as star quarterback, the episode opens with the news of the athlete's death before going on "to focus on all the characters remembering and mourning him, and celebrating his life."

Lea Michele, who portrays Rachel Berry, the on again-off again girlfriend of Finn, will not be seen until the final scene. While her appearance is brief, her performance is "incredibly powerful." A musical number performed by Michele's character will also be featured.
