Emmy®-nominated writer/director Jon Garcia (The Falls trilogy, Sex Weather) and Grammy® Award-winning out singer/songwriter Matt Alber are proud to announce ROOM TO GROW, a new documentary series on a mission to share the real-life stories of today's LGBTQ+ teens, their families & their allies.

ROOM TO GROW chronicles the lives & stories of several LGBTQ+ teens & families in cities across the country and abroad, offering an up-close and intimate glimpse into their daily lives as they endeavor to find an identity that fits and a place in their communities.

The series is currently in production and is seeking additional funds for the completion of Season One set to premier for free on the web just before the holidays.

"We're finding that acceptance, love and support for LGBTQ+ teens and their families is severely lacking across the globe," said co-producer Jon Garcia. "That's why we're taking Room To Grow on tour to cities across America through grassroots screenings, all-ages raves, and community meetings to reach the parents & kids who need it the most."

"These kids are already saying who they are," said Matt Alber, co-producer. "We're just here to let them speak for themselves and let their stories be heard."

ROOM TO GROW also features in-depth interviews with today's leading authors, musicians, clergy, politicians & informed advocates for the LGBTQ+ community.

The series premier will also kickoff a ROOM TO GROW TOUR announcing the show to communities nationwide through school assemblies, concerts & all ages-all stages prom nights.
