While filming his new show 'Virtually Famous' in England this summer, Glee star Kevin McHale spoke to UK's The Sun about the final season of the FOX musical dramedy.

"We're about to start filming our last season, but, as sad as that may be, I think that's that," said the actor who portrays 'Artie' on the show. "We've had a really good run, and we've done some amazing storytelling, and we've got meet a lot of the fans around the world, which is pretty rare for a show to get to do."

The actor shared that while he feels sad over the show's ending, the timing seems to be right. "It's ending at a good point," he offered. "We've seen the characters become young adults, and I think they're going to wrap it up in a nice way."

McHale went on to share that he was "sure" that late actor Cory Monteith's character Finn Hudson would somehow be featured in the show's swan song. The show paid tribute to the character in Season 5's "The Quarterback" episode and has since mentioned him in later episodes. "His character was just an integral part of the show, so there's really no way to go on and see these characters grow up without him being a part of it in some way," he said.

The sixth and final season of Glee will return to FOX in 2015 with an abbreviated 13-episode run.
