TVGuide reports that John Slattery has joined the cast of the upcoming season of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. The actor will appear in a muli-episode story arc when the series returns for a fourth season. No details have been released on Slattery's role which could potentially involve a romance with Jessica Walter's Lucille.

Arrested Development first aired on FOX in 2006. The upcoming season, currently in production, will consist of 10 episodes, each one focused on a different member of the Bluth family. The entire season will be made available at the same time on Netflix sometime next year.

Slattery is best known for his role as Roger Sterling on AMC's series Mad Men. He has been nominated for many awards for his portrayal, and has won two SAG Awards with the Mad Men ensemble.
