The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen have announced a new report highlighting innovative scholarship programs designed to meet the needs of military families.

In Focus Martin Sheen PBS is an independently produced television series airing in markets around the country on public television. The program is hosted by the legendary Martin Sheen, who is about to embark on his second half-century in American entertainment. Mr. Sheen has developed a reputation as one of Hollywood's most respected actors during a career that includes more than 60 film appearances.

Set for a spring debut, In Focus Martin Sheen is turning its cameras on scholarship programs that are meeting the higher education needs of military dependents. Some of this scholarship money is appropriated specifically for children of service personnel who have dies in service to their country. Other programs are designed to help returning service members with the money they need to get more education in order to compete in a highly educated workforce.

The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen are hoping to debut the new report in April. Viewers can find air times and dates by checking their local listings.
