Henry Cavill Cast as Zack Snyder's SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL

According to Aintitcool.com, Henry Cavill has officially signed to play Superman in Zack Snyder's SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL.

Henry Cavill is best known for his work on THE TUDORS as Charles Brandon. He's also had roles in HELLRAISER: HELLWORLD, TRISTON + ISOLDE, STARDUST and can be seen as Theseus in the upcoming IMMORTALS.

Cavill first began acting in school plays at Stowe. He once said in an interview for "The Tudors: A Sit-Down with Henry Cavill:" "In prep school I really learned to love the stage. When you step out from the wings into the lights, there's this incredible rush of adrenaline and fear and anticipation... it's just something else, it really is."
