Geena Davis Joins ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY for Major Arc in Season 11

According to Deadline, Geena Davis will appear for a "major guest arc" in GREY'S ANATOMY's upcoming eleventh season on ABC.

Davis will play a surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial. No word yet on how her character will affect the plot, especially after Cristina's (Sandra Oh) departure at the end of last season, but BWW will keep you updated as we learn more!

Davis last appeared on ABC in Commander In Chief. She will next appear on the big screen in Me Him Her and was recently seen in In a World... and the TV mini-series Coma. The actress is well known for her roles in A League of Their Own, Thelma & Louise, Beetlejuice and more.
