Lea Michele will be featured on the cover of December's Elle Magazine. In the issue, the Glee star spoke candidly about her life following the tragic death of her co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith. The magazine released a first look at the cover as well as quotes from the feature story yesterday, Sunday (November 3).

After first hearing of the death of Monteith, Michele turned to a recent Glee co-star for help in avoiding the press. "I called [Kate Hudson] and said, 'I don't know where I'm going to go because my house is swarmed [with reporters],'" Michelle told Elle. "She was like, 'Oh, you're going to stay at my house.' Like it was nothing. No one knew I was there. I'll never really be able to thank her, truly, for what she did for me."

Continued the actress, "I never thought I would be in this position in my whole life," Michelle said. "Now that I am in this position, you can choose to rise, and that's what I'm going to try to do. I know that Cory would want nothing more than for me to take this situation and use it to help people."

Michele shared that keeping up her busy work schedule has not been an easy task. "It's very hard. And you have to be very strong to come out of this alive, but I think by doing the best for myself, by showing that you don't have to lose yourself, maybe someone else will feel some sort of strength or comfort."

Glee creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed that next season would be the last for the FOX musical dramedy series. Following the unexpected death of Monteith, Murphy has shared that he had to rethink how his show will conclude its run next year.
