Digitalspy reports that GLEE star Harry Shum Jr has signed on to the cast of the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon sequel. The actor will join previously announced cast members Michelle Yeoh and Donnie Yen.

Directed by Woo-ping Yuen, the martial arts film will take place 20 years after the 2000 original. According to the report, the film will feature four heroes, "Silent Wolf (Yen), Yu Shu-lien (Yeoh), Tie-Fang (Shum) and Snow Vase - fighting to keep the legendary sword Green Destiny out of the hands of the villainous Hades Dai."

Production is set to get underway on the film this week in China and New Zealand.

Shum is best known for his portrayal of Mike Chang on the long-running FOX musical dramedy GLEE. He will soon be seen on the big screen in Revenge of the Green Dragons.
