F'D (ANOTHER EFFING WEB SERIES), a new comedy, will release its pilot episode Friday, May 12th, at 5:30p EST. F'd explores the lives of four neighbors (Jenny, Ryan, Chris, and Kate), who each live (on their respective floor) in Apartment F, while examining the reality that the way one thought life would work out so rarely matches up with how life actually unfolds.
"This is not how it's supposed to go," laments Jenny. "This is not how I thought it would go." It's a familiar sentiment - a perfect plan is laid out, and not a single thing goes according to plan. Even more so, it's a sentiment the "millennial" generation has come to accept as their own new reality. College degree acquired, but a job remains unattainable. A picture-perfect life meticulously assembled, but only through the lens of an Instagram account. A desire to settle down and care for someone (or thing), but marriage and children aren't in the three-year-plan. Co-created by Carly Otte and Teresa Catherine, the series first began as a scene between the two actresses to create fresh acting reel material. "The more developed the characters got, the more we realized this could be so much more than just one scene," says Otte, who plays Jenny, in addition to serving as the show's executive producer. "I saw an exciting opportunity to tell a small part of the millennial story," explains Catherine, who plays Kate and works as head writer. "Millennials sometimes get a bad rap. But it's our story, our reality. I think these are really relatable characters with really relatable stories."Instagram: @f_ingswebseries
