Emma Watson Confirmed for 50 SHADES OF GREY Film?

Digitalspy reports that Emma Watson may have been officially confirmed to star in the upcoming film adaptation of the bestselling novel 50 SHADES OF GREY. According to the report, a group of online hackers known collectively as 'Anonymous' hacked their way into the internal server of German studio Constantin film, and leaked several documents, including one relating to the highly anticipated adaptation from Focus Features.

Watson is set to star as lead character Ana Steele, described as the "naive college student in a relationship with sexually sadistic billionaire ChristIan Grey." The leak has been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.

This is not The First Time 'Anoymous' has revealed celebrity breaking news. The gang has apparently leaked phone numbers and credit card information from such stars as Beyoncé and Kanye West and boasted about it on Twitter.

It has long been rumored that Watson was the frontrunner for the role of Ana, although she has denied any involvement. A director has not yet been confirmed for the adaptation of EL James's novel, which is being written by Kelly Marcel and produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti.
