Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre presents Disney's "TRON: Legacy" for a special engagement December 17 through January 20, 2011, it was announced today by Lylle Breier, senior vice president of worldwide special events for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
Breier said, "As the holidays approach, we are thrilled to make the El Capitan 'TRON: Legacy' headquarters. Not only will our guests enjoy the movie in Disney Digital 3DTM, we will also present a state-of-the-art laser light show sponsored by Kodak before every screening. The El Capitan lobby will also feature an actual full scale 'TRON: Legacy' Light Cycle on display for the length of the engagement. It's a way of experiencing the world of 'TRON: Legacy' that only the El Capitan can provide." Adding to the excitement, one lucky winner will win a pair of tickets to Disney California AdventureTM Park before every showing of "TRON: Legacy" to experience the nighttime street celebration, "ElecTRONica."The engagement kicks off with a special midnight screening on Thursday night December 16. The film will then screen daily at 10:00 a.m., 1:15 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m., and 10:45 p.m.
