Doris Day will receive the Career Achievement Award from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.

Day starred in numerous film musicals, most notably, the screen adaptation of "The Pajama Game," along with "Jumbo," "Love Me or Love Me," "Calamity Jane," "Romance on the High Seas," and "On Moonlight Bay."

She received an Oscar nomination for "Pillow Talk." Other films include "That Touch of Mink," "Send Me No Flowers," "Lover Come Back," and "The Man Who Knew Too Much."

She also headlined her own sitcom, "The Doris Day Show" and has recorded numerous hit albums.
