The Disney/ABC Television Group received two Daytime Emmy Awards during the 41st Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards presented June 22, and four at the Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards presented on June 20.

ABC's "Good Morning America" was named Outstanding Morning Program.

Katie Couric received her first Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Talk Show Host for "Katie."

Mark Teschner was honored as Outstanding Casting Director for a Drama Series for his work on "General Hospital." "General Hospital" also garnered a win for Outstanding Achievement in Makeup for a Drama Series.

ABC's "Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade" was honored for Outstanding Technical Team.

Disney Channel received a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Original Song - Main Title and Promo for "Sofia the First: Main Title Theme."

The Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards were presented in Los Angeles. Winners of the 41st Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards were announced on June 20th from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. This was the first time in history that streaming technology was used to webcast the awards show. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards were presented on June 14th at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles where the Disney/ABC Television Group won four awards.
