Dana Delaney to Return for DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES Series Finale

 As first reported on TVLine.com, Dana Delany will be returning to the ABC drama series DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES for the show's series finale. The actress will reprise her role as Katherine Mayfair. The character last appeared in 2010 on the show toward the sixth season in an episode entitled 'My Two Young Men'.

The series finale will be written by creator Marc Cherry. It is scheduled to air on May 13 on the ABC network. The nighttime soap will be returning with all new episodes beginning April 29. 

Delany is best known for her role as Colleen McMurphy on the ABC television show China Beach, for which she won two Emmy Awards. Her TV credits include Pasadena (2001), Presidio Med (2002–2003), and Kidnapped (2006–2007). From 2007 to 2010 Delany played Katherine Mayfair on the ABC series Desperate Housewives and currently stars as Megan Hunt on the ABC drama series Body of Proof.
