'Caitlyn' Jenner Joins Twitter, Tweets: 'Welcome to the World'

Former olympian Bruce Jenner introduces himself as 'Caitlyn Jenner' in the July issue of Vanity Fair. In the issue, Jenner chats with author Buzz Bissinger about his decision to undergo a procedure to become a woman. "If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, 'You just blew your entire life,' " he said.
In addition, Caitlyn launched an official Twitter account, sharing a photo of the Vanity Fair photo shoot and the caption: I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me.
In a recent episode of E!'s "Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce" Jenner shared with his stepdaughter Khloé Kardashian that he was planning to fully transition "probably in the spring." His new life as a woman will be chronicled in an upcoming eight-part docuseries premiering in July on E!
