CSI: NY's Gary Sinise Injured in Car Accident

The Associated Press reports that actor Gary Sinise, star of the CBS drama series CSI: NY has been injured in a car accident. The actor has cancelled his upcoming appearances with his Lt. Dan Band. The extent of his injuries is not yet known.

A spokeswoman for the actor informed the AP that he was a passenger in a car involved in an accident on Friday. Sinise was to perform with his band at a fundraising event last weekend in Martinsville, Va., and next week in Palm Desert, Calif. According to the report, The Martinsville concert will be rescheduled and the Palm Desert performance has been canceled.

Sinise stars on CBS's  CSI: NY. The show has completed production for the current season.
