CBS's NCIS Sweeps Time Period in Viewers & Key Demos

NCIS swept its time period in viewers and key demos, topping "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" in adults 18-49 for the second consecutive week, and Person of Interest won its time period in all measures, recording its first adults 18-49 win over "Chicago Fire," according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 22.

NCIS was first in viewers (18.58m), adults 25-54 (4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09). NCIS out-rated "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" in adults 18-49 (vs. 2.6, +15%) for the second consecutive week.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in viewers (14.87m) and second in adults 25-54 (3.4/08) and adults 18-49 (2.6/07). Compared to last week, NCIS: Los Angeles was even in adults 18-49 and added +220,000 viewers (from 14.65m, +2%).

At 10:00 PM, Person of Interest was first in viewers (12.94m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06). Person of Interest won its time slot in adults 18-49, topping "Chicago Fire" for the first time this season. Person of Interest posted the time period's best viewers delivery for a regularly scheduled program since Sept. 25, 2012 ("Vegas" series premiere). Compared to last week, Person of Interest was even in adults 18-49 and added +250,000 viewers (from 12.69m, +2%).

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (15.46m) and adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and was a strong second in adults 18-49 (2.6/07, -0.1 behind NBC).
