48 HOURS: "Hunted" was Saturdays #1 program with viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 19.
48 HOURS was also #1 at 10:00 PM with viewers and adults 25-54. The broadcast delivered 4.81 million viewers and a 1.3/04 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Saturday's 10:00 PM broadcast featured Maureen Maher and 48 HOURS' report on two detectives in Colorado and their work to stop a serial rapist before he struck again. A rapist had been preying on women, young and old, in multiple states and over a period of years. He would watch their homes, know their patterns and even brazenly enter their homes when they were asleep. They never knew. When he struck, he did so with military precision: He raped them, he photographed them, and then he would make his victims wash away any possible DNA. Finally he would remove all the sheets and take them with him to guard against any physical evidence left at the scene.Recent Articles
