CBS Picks Up Greg Berlanti Pilot GOLDEN BOY

According to TVGuide.com, the CBS network has ordered a pilot from director, producer Greg Berlanti entitled GOLDEN BOY.  

The series will be an hour-long drama which follows one police officer's incredible journey from an officer to a detective to Police Commisioner.  The series will be written by Nicholas Wooton who will share the executive producing credits with Berlanti. It was previously announced that pilots from Berlanti have been picked up by both Fox and The CW networks. 

Among the many TV shows that have been produced by Berlanti are Brothers and Sisters, No Ordinary Family, Eli Stone, Dirty Sexy Money and Everwood. 

The CBS network has already put in orders for the pilots 'Elementary', which will be a modern-day take on the Sherlock Holmes mysteries, a pilot from Jerry Bruckheimer, a legal drama entitled 'Baby Big Shot' and a yet untitled comedy from Nick Stoller.
