CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY Adds Nearly 900,000 Viewers

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH Scott Pelley added +880,000 viewers compared to the same week last year, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Feb. 22.
The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH Scott Pelley posted double-digit year-to-year percentage gains in viewers (+14%, 7.38m from 6.50m); adults 25-54, the demographic most important to those who advertise in News (+13%, 1.8/06 from 1.6/06); and households (+14%, 4.9/09 from 4.3/08).Patricia Shevlin is the Executive Producer of the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH Scott Pelley.The CBS Evening News premiered as a half-hour broadcast on Sept. 2, 1963.
