BWW Recap: The Voice: Tensions are Heightened on the Final Night of Battles

It's the last day of the Battles, which means that each performance was more heated than the last. Only the best were save were last, which meant this episode, the bar was raised and the best was expected from everyone. Since it was only an hour, they didn't show much interaction between the coaches, so let's get through the final of the Battles before we get ready for the Knockouts next week!

The first Battle was CeeLo, between Shawn Smith and Jonny Gray, both ex-military turned singers. CeeLo chose "Refugee" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Both Christina and Adam felt Jonny won, and CeeLo agreed, eliminating Shawn Smith and sending Jonny to the next round.

Battle Two was a Team Adam battle between American Samoa Barry Black and Christian Rocker Preston Pohl. Giving them a classic song "I Wish It Would Rain" by the Temptations, the judges favorEd Preston, and Adam went with their decision, picking Preston.

The final Battle of the night was a Team Xtina Battle between country tax worker Olivia Henken and cruise line singer Stephanie Anne Johnson. Blake gave them the song "Done." by The Band Perry. Despite the fact that both CeeLo and Adam favored Stephanie, Christina went with Olivia, feeling that she owned the song more with her country vibe. The road wasn't over for Stephanie, who was quickly stolen by CeeLo, ending the Battles.

Winners of Battles that weren't shown were Holly Holiday (Team Blake), Brandon Chase (Team Blake) and Tamara Chauniece (Team CeeLo)

At the end of the Battles, the current standing is:

Team Adam: James Wolpert, Tessanne Chin, Preston Pohl, Ashley Dubose, James Irwin, and Grey. Adam also stole Lina Gaudenzi from Team Xtina and Juhi from Team CeeLo.

Team Blake: Shelbie Z, Holly Henry, Austin Jenkles, E.G. Daily, Ray Boudreaux, and Brandon Chase. Blake stole Nic Hawk from Team Adam and Briana Cuoco from Team Xtina.

Team Xtina: Josh Logan, Matthew Schuler, Jacquie Lee, Destinee Quinn, Amber Nicole, and Olivia Henken. Christina stole Team CeeLo's Anthony Paul, and Team Adam's Will Champlin.

Team CeeLo: Kat Robichaud, Caroline Pennell, Jonny Gray, Cole Vosbury, George Horga Jr, and Tamara Chauniece. CeeLo stole Stephanie Anne Johnson from Team Christina and Monika Leigh from Team Blake.
