Ollie (aka ARROW, played by Stephen Amell) has been ordered by Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) to marry his lesbian daughter Nyssa (Katrina Law) before Ollie can assume the throne as the new Ra's al Ghul . Nothing says love quite like an arranged shotgun ---errrr--- I mean sword wedding. Keep your eyes on the target, we'll get you caught up on this week's ep "This is Your Sword."

We begin with Flashback #1: Hong Kong is in chaos. A bioweapon has been released. Ollie, Tatsu (Rila Fukushima) and Maseo (Karl Yune) frantically run through the streets. Tatsu and Maseo's son is dying from the bioweapon.

Back in real time, Ra's reiterates that ARROW must marry Nyssa and then fly to Starling City and release the bioweapon on on his former home. Why burn a few bridges when there's mass genocide on the table, I guess.

In the city, Diggle (David Ramsey) is running after a perp. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) radios him from the lair: "At least you're getting your cardio workout in. I still have 40 minutes on an elliptical in my immediate future." See, it's all about perspective.

The perp leads Diggle to an alley filled with the rest of his gang. John calmly puts in ear plugs. We hear the signature sonic scream of Black Canary (aka Laurel Lance, played by Katie Cassidy). It's the second time they've used them on the show and the comic book fan in me is still geeking out over it.

Diggle and Canary quickly make easy work out of beating the snot out of the baddies. Back at Diggle's home, Felicity mentions that he was completely unhinged, beating the one guy a bit more than was deserved. Diggle admits he has anger issues; he's still mad at ARROW for kidnapping his wife. Felicity is still holding onto the fact that the Ollie she knows died when this ARROW was born, so it isn't Ollie's fault.

Malcolm (John Barrowman) pays a visit to his daughter Thea (Willa Holland). She's packing to go see Roy (Colton Haynes) who took the fall for the murders Ra's committed that were blamed on Ollie and then faked his own death to get out of prison. She assumes he has come to talk her out of it. He surprises her by telling her he thinks it is a good idea.

It's dinner at Casa du Ra's. Ra's tells Nyssa that she is not only expected to marry ARROW, but Ra's will be expecting grandkids. Now that's a baby shower I wouldn't mind attending. Do you think they'll register at Babys R Us? I digress. ARROW is also not too keen on the wedding and tells Ra's he's going to take a walk to clear his head.

He runs into Malcolm on the beach (apparently, Starling City airlines is now flying direct to Nanda Parbat). ARROW tells him "things are worse than we thought." Hmmm, so he's been plotting with Malcolm all this time...

Turns out, Malcolm thought ARROW would have months to dismantle the League of Assasins from the inside. Turns out, he has only had a couple of days. They need help, but ARROW has burned bridges and Malcolm isn't exactly held in high regard by anyone in Team ARROW. ARROW knows someone they will trust, though.

Before his complete plan can be revealed, Maseo spies ARROW and walks over to him. Malcolm is no where to be seen, though.

Flashback #2: Their son is dying. Maseo explains to Ollie that the innoculate didn't work on their son because his immune system isn't fully developed (so why do we innoculate kids again). Their son is dying in Tatsu's arms. Maseo wants to see if the U.S. army has a cure. Ollie tells him he'll help him.

Thea meets up with Roy (who is going by the name Jason). She asks him if they can go some place in talk and he takes her back to his place.

Felicity actually shows up to work. Her boss Ray (aka The Atom, played by Brandon Routh) has asked her there to catch up since they broke up (she declines to discuss the Ollie sitch) and he also has her sign some forms (which she does without reading). He's transferred ownership of the company to her. She gets a text from Malcolm that they need to talk.

Maseo and ARROW share around the campfire. ARROW realizes that Maseo is the one who took the weapon from the truck during that flashback a couple of eps back. Maseo used it to get into the League.

Felicity, Diggle and Laurel are all waiting for Malcolm. None of them are happy to have called to a meeting with him. He tells them Ollie has been faking it the whole time. They don't believe him. Tatsu walks in. She tells them their city is in great danger. She tells him about the League's plans to drop the bioweapon on the city. They still don't believe her. Malcolm hands them a tablet containing all the intel he has on the weapon and tells them if they are to meet him at sunrise for a flight to Nanda Parbat.

"He has lied to us so many times, it should be a drinking game," Felicity says later in the lair. Best line of the night.

Diggle and Laurel decide to go. Felicity says she's still can't go back. Tatsu comes by the office to speak with her, though. She tells Felicity that as he lay dying and Tatsu was nursing him back to health, all Ollie could think of was Felicity. Felicity still is convinced Ollie is gone. Tatsu mentions that she didn't fight for her husband Maseo when he was consumed by the League and she begs Felcity to not make the same mistake.

Flashback #3: Maseo and Ollie are about to infiltrate a base for a possible cure. Seeing as we already know that Maseo's son is dead, this doesn't hold much suspense.

Back at the airport, Tatsu unveils a kick butt katana and a mask (if you haven't clued in, she is, in fact, the comic book character known as Katana). All of Team Arrow is also along for the ride, including Felicity.

On Nanda Parbat, the gang is surrounded just inches away from the plane that Ra's plans to use to release the bioweapon. Felicity is hoping to get close enough to hack into its controls. The gang fights various assasins. Maseo and Tatsu face off. Felicity's tablet takes an arrows. The plane takes off. She tells Malcolm that's why she brought some insurance. The Atom flies onto the sceen (and after the plane). When a piece of his suit malfunctions, he decides to use himself as a human bullet and speeds right into the plane, ripping it into two.

Tatso, meanwhile, has fallen. Maseo tells her to tell their son he loves him and raises his sword to kill his wife. She grabs her sword and plunges it into him. He dies in her arms, thanking her for saving him from this prison.

Ra's arrives on the scene to tell our heroes they only shot down a plane and he still holds the bioweapon. ARROW appears alongside and tells his former friends to surrender or die.

Turns out the plane was always a rouse. Ra's was testing ARROW. Tatso comes forward and tells Ra's that her dead husband is the one who told her about his plans to release the bioweapon, not ARROW. The team is lead away to prison cells.

Post nookie, Thea catchs Roy up to speed. He tells her she can't run from her problems. She retorts that she was running to him. He exclaims he only wants what is best for her. They snuggle some more.

Diggle is fetched from the cell for an audience with ARROW. He is still pissed about ARROW taking his wife hostage.

Pointless flashback #4: General Shrieve (Marc Singer) hears fighting and gunfire. His compound is under seige. He is strangely calm. He explains why he did it (the Chinese own America, all without firing a single shot). Maseo grows impatient and shoots him in the shoulder.

Malcolm is Malcolm. He tells Ra's that in exchange for his freedom he'll finger who revealed Ra's plans. He tells Ra's it was Ollie. ARROW is summouned and he tells Ra's Ollie is dead, the Green Arrow is gone and he has nothing to go home to.

Thea wakes up. Roy has bolted. He has left a letter and his Arsenal suit. In the note, he tells her he always thorugh red was more her color.

In the cell, Ra's grabs Tatsu (she is innoculated against the weapon). He then tosses the bioweapon into the cell and ARROW shuts the door on his former friends.

Final Flashback: Ollie unties Shrieve so he can administer the vaccine to Tatsu's dying son (whom we already know has died...again, not much tension here). The cure is just insulin. It was a trap set by Shrieve so they would lead him to their hideout. Maseo and Tatsu watch their son die.

And it's the wedding of ARROW and Nyssa. Nyssa tries to dagger ARROW, but he stops her and tells the priest to continue.

We cut to the cell. All of Team ARROW looks dead. And ARROW and Nyssa are married.
