Comingsoon.net reports that Universal Pictures revealed exciting casting news at yesterday's CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas.

'The Imitation Game's Benedict Cumberbatch will lend his voice to the title role of the upcoming reboot of the holiday classic THE GRINCH. Directed by Pete Candeland and Yarrow Cheney, and adapted from Dr. Seuss' book by Michael LeSieur, the animated film will be produced by Illumination's Chris Meledandri, Janet Healy and Scott Mosier, and executive produced by Audrey Geisel and Chris Renaud. It is scheduled to hit theaters on November 10, 2017.

In addition, it was announced that Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award winner Trey Parker, who took home the Tony Award for the Broadway hit musical BOOK OF MORMON, will lend his voice to 'Despicible Me 3's villain Balthazar Bratt, described as "a former child star who's grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the '80s. He proves to be Gru's most formidable nemesis to date."

Directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, co-directed by Eric Guillon, and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio, 'Despicible Me 3' will be in theaters on June 30, 2017.
