According to TVLine.com, Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine is currently in talks to appear in his debut acting role in the upcoming season of FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY. When the show returns for Season 2, the 'Voice' judge would portray the male role in a relationship referred to as "The Lovers".

Season two of the series will be set on the East Coast at an “institution”.  Jessica Lange (who originally played Constance), Zachary Quinto (Chad), Evan Peters (Tate), Sarah Paulson (psychic Billie Dean) and Lily Rabe (doctor’s wife Nora) will all reprise their roles and will be joined by a new set of characters.

According to the report, Season 2 will also feature the role of a “ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot who harbors a secret”. That role has yet to be cast.
