outsideOUTSIDE Shares New EP 'Hell With My Friends'

The genre-dismissive young duo outsideOUTSIDE - also known as Kali & Tali - have shared their new EP Hell With My Friends, out today via Warner Bros. Records. The 6-track EP officially introduces listeners into the world of outsideOUTSIDE - sending emotional transmissions reverent of Warped Tour's golden years through a haze of 808s, trap percussion and nocturnal R&B. Hell With My Friends features the recently released track "almostDEAD (feat. Yung Bans)" and standout new song "Colder," described by the duo as being about "the void that eats a relationship away slowly without any discernible source."

Kali and Tali share on the EP: "The fire doesn't hurt so bad when you're burning with your friends. It can be hard to sleep with the city roaring outside your window, and hard to see clearly when all surrounding lights are artificial. Sometimes the ability to think feels more like a life sentence, but damn, it's certainly less lonely to indulge your darkest temptations when you're in good company. Whatever. The real world's boring and painful. The party never ends until it does. Welcome to the outside..."

outsideOUTSIDE comprises 19-year-old Tali (vocals) and 25-year-old Kali (vocals + production). After meeting via a mutual friend, the pair hit it off and uncovered an unbreakable creative chemistry. They first introduced outsideOUTSIDE this past Valentine's Day with the single "Habits," and within a few months' time, the track had amassed over 300K Spotify streams, earned tastemaker support from MrSuicideSheep, and landed the pair a label deal.

The duo's overall goal is to make outsideOUTSIDE a place where listeners can come to feel safe, and be relieved of their anxieties, pain, and anything else they're dealing with or suffering from. Kali says, "We're mirroring our experiences and showing we're not perfect. We're just like you. We go through the same things, and we understand. We recognized that kids needed somewhere to go where they could share these feelings, so we offer a sanctuary."
