Backed by a global cast of musicians, singer/songwriter Adam Blotner has released an album of lighthearted yet poignant country tunes centered around progressive values. Featuring songs like "Please Don't Take My DACA Away," "I Love This Clinic," and "Black Lives Matter," Blotner addresses a range of hot button social issues with joy and musical prowess.

Blotner is no stranger to skewering politics with musical comedy, having written 2017's Trump: An American Musical, which appeared in concert at Feinstein's/54 Below, and was featured by the Huffington Post and Funny or Die. Along with his wife and co-writer Jenny Pinzari, they produced a series of political musical videos that in total garnered more than 14 million views.

"Step to the Left" is sure to stir controversy and grab the attention of folks on both sides of the aisle. It is an album everyone will surely have a strong opinion about, even before they listen to it -- because the only thing more divisive than politics is country music.

"Step to the Left: Country for Liberals" is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, YouTube, and CDBaby.
