Weslee Releases New Track BOY LIKE YOU

Mysterious duo Josh and Emma (aka WESLEE) have announced the release of their fresh new single 'Boy Like You' ahead of an eagerly anticipated performance at Annie Mac's AMP event on 22nd February 2018. Click here to buy or stream the track!

Performing at the Jazz Cafe, the duo will be joined by Jessie Ware and Sunflower Bean, as well as BBC Radio 1 tastemaker herself, Annie Mac. An enigmatic pair who choose to stay unidentified, 'Boy Like You', released independently, is set to drop on Friday 1st December, having first created a buzz thanks to an appearance at the end of an episode of Grey's Anatomy.

A rich electronic production which focuses on synth analogues and soft dreamy vocals, 'Boy Like You'was self-produced by one half of the Weslee duo and serves as a love story encapsulating the intense rush of feelings that come with a successful relationship.

Having catapulted themselves into the mainstream eye with debut track 'Gassed', which was the subject of high critical acclaim, scoring a wealth of support from industry heavyweights such as BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong & Danny Howard. The station awarded the track the honour of their prestigious 'Hottest Record in the World. With follow up-track 'Bathwater' further recognised by Annie Mac, Mistajamand Huw Stephens.

With its sparse, delicate production, 'Boy Like You' has already hit #8 on the United States Future Hits Chart, amassing over 95k Shazams in the process. WESLEE continue their upwards trajectory with an EP in the pipeline which Josh describes as wanting to be, "More about the music than us" ahead of the Jazz Cafe performance in February.
