Warner Bros. Records (WBR) today announced that Emio Zizza has been promoted to Head of Business & Legal Affairs, while retaining his title as Senior Vice President. Zizza, who joined WBR in 2007, will relocate from New York to the label's headquarters in Burbank, California. In his new post, he reports directly to Cameron Strang, Chairman & CEO, Warner Bros. Records.

"Emio brings outstanding business savvy and a true artist-oriented sensibility to his new position on our senior management team," said Cameron Strang. "It's the perfect combination for the WBR culture, so it gives me great pleasure to announce this richly deserved promotion and welcome him to our top legal post."

"I'm thrilled to be taking on this new role during a time of rapid change in our industry," said Emio Zizza. "Under Cameron's leadership, WBR is in the midst of a creative resurgence, and I'm looking forward to working closely with our fantastic executive team and brilliant roster of artists to help chart our future. I want to thank Cameron for this exciting new opportunity."
