Today, Toronto rapper, Nue released his new music video "Fever" from his critically-acclaimed project, Iroquois.

Nue exclusively told The Fader, "I had no intentions of a making a drugged out love song, but it just became that. I got into an argument with my girl at the time and I needed to numb myself. It was all about the vibe. I wanted the video to reflect the kind of uncertainty that I was feeling that day." Along with premiering "Fever," The Fader announced that Nue signed with300 Entertainment, making him the first Canadian artist to sign with the independent label.

Nue's sound is heavily influenced by his upbringing in Toronto's Scarborough area. After completing high school, the anime illustrator decided to focus on music and began dropping singles in 2012. Gradually, the 21 year-old caught the attention of Toronto's tastemakers and started to perform a major hometown festivals like North By Northeast. After the release of his two projects, Dreamchasers and 2017's Iroquois, outlets such as Noisey, Pigeons and Planes, Hot New Hip-Hop, The Source, and The Fader started to take notice of Nue'sminimalistic and unorthodox sound. Now signed with 300 Entertainment, Nue will continue to make his footprint on the Toronto music scene and work on his fall EP.

Iroquois is currently available and be sure to take a look at the IR/918 Studios-directed "Fever" video!.
