Demi Lovato is hitting the road in 2014 on the Neon Lights Tour and she's bringing along the girls of Fifth Harmony from Season 2 of The X Factor, X Factor UK contestant Cher Lloyd and Season 8 X Factor UK winners, girl group Little Mix, as her opening acts.

Below, watch the girls of Fifth Harmony talk about a cryptic text Demi sent them about the upcoming tour!

On "Live From MTV" with Fifth Harmony, they performed two songs including their first single "Miss Movin' On." The five girls - Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui - said they're "super-excited" to hit the road and shared that Demi may have hinted at the tour invitation a few months ago via text message.

"She said we should perform a Spice Girls song," Camila said. "And we were like, where are we going to perform it?"

"She said at a concert. What concert?" Lauren added.

Well, that opportunity turned out to be the Neon Lights Tour, which will kick off on February 9 in Vancouver, Canada, before making stops in Atlanta, New Jersey, and Toronto and wrapping up March 30 in Indianapolis.

The Fifth Harmony girls, who are preparing for the road trip with their own headlining tour, which kicks off Friday (October 25) in Boston, Massachusetts, reveal that they haven't talked to Demi about any of the tour logistics as of yet, or even their EP, Better Together, which they released this week. But they do keep in touch.

"We haven't talked about the EP, but I did send her this GIF on Tumblr once. It was one where she was [dancing]," Camila said before demonstrating the dance move. "And the Tumblr caption was, 'When you fart in class and nobody hears,' and then I texted it to her and I was like "LOL" and she was like "LOL."
