"I love this song because it feels like such a fresh throwback to classic holiday songs," Jackson explains. "I dig the simplicity of the theme, the retro vibe, and I love any chance to collaborate with the magical Catey Shaw." "Plans" is available now on Spotify, iTunes and all other digital platforms. An actor, singer and songwriter who has starred in several roles on Broadway and on screens big and small, Cheyenne Jackson is an occasional recording artist as well. Born and raised in the state of Washington, he did some theater work in Seattle but didn't take acting seriously until the early 2000s, when he decided to move to New York. Known for screen work ranging from United 93 to 30 Rock to American Horror Story, Jackson is featured on several cast recordings, including releases of All Shook Up (2005), Xanadu(2008), and Finian's Rainbow (2009). The last of those three was released the same year he teamed with Michael Feinstein for The Power of Two. Additionally, he has recorded solo albums on his own, beginning with I'm Blue, Skies (2013). Renaissance (2016) was adapted from a stage show, Cheyenne Jackson's Cocktail Hour: Music of the Mad Men Era, which he had performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.

Catey Shaw truly got her start underground-in the New York City subways. She played a beat-up ukulele for spare change until her producer and collaborator, Jay Levine, discovered her playing on the 23rd St. station's southbound platform on the F/M line. She released her debut EP, Clouds, in February 2013, and in 2014, followed this up with The Brooklyn EP, featuring "Human Contact" and "Night Go Slow," cementing herself into the indie-pop scene. That momentum continued through the release of her EP, The Ransom, and most recent, Head Games EP. Her Christmas song, "Cuddle Up" is slowly becoming a holiday classic, with over 7 million plays on Spotify and she boasts a total of 42M plays across all of her music, and her latest single "New Day" is taken from her and Jay Levine's current work in progress; a musical theater production entitled "Wally" which is based on Viennese avant-garde artist, Egon Schiele's muse and mistress, Wally Neuzil.
