New Jersey Indie rock act Their Planes Will Block Out The Sun share the first recorded output with new vocalists Theresa Guido and Aaron diPiazza. Following the release of Brasil, the band parted ways with long time vocalist and founding member Vic Fernandes, and underwent a search for a new front person, or people as it turned out as well as for the next evolution of the bands sound.

The apocalyptic undertones of the Brasil EP laid the perfect ground work for the rebirth and evolution which they achieved following several months writing and recording.

The fruits of this labor can be heard with glowing clarity on singles Tom Hanks and b-side NewHampshire.

Named for Hanks's role in the movie Big, the track deals with childhood, and how much we actually learn about living life from our experiences as "Tiny Kids."

New Hampshire is the first track fully realized by the new lineup-a dark and moody track, dealing with a relationship where communication has failed though both parties are searching for the same thing, however are seemingly unable to connect.

The band will be performing a free set along side Alyson Greenfield, Bree and The Whatevers and Liz Hogg of the Beach Arabs this Saturday at Brooklyn's Spike Hill.

These tracks are the precursor to a full length, set to be recorded later this year. The band will be touring through out the summer as well as playing around the tri state area.

Their Planes Will Block Out The Sun are:
Theresa Guido - vocals, keyboards
Aaron diPiazza - vocals, guitar
Paul Falcone - keyboards
Craig Monaco - guitar
John Falcone - drums
Wayne Green - bass
