The Accidentals Release PARKING LOT EP

The Accidentals are a critically-acclaimed, genre-bending, female-fronted trio and today the band releases the new self-produced EP Parking Lot, exclusively through NoiseTrade. For a band that launched their career in high school with over a thousand concerts, to becoming Billboard Magazine's top breakout artist at SXSW 2015 with the fastest growing global streaming audience in 2016, their story is packed full of opportunity, pitfall and resilience.

Parking Lot includes "Michigan and Again", a love-song to the band's home state that was recently the focus of a profile with NPR's Weekend Edition Saturday. Listen to the NPR feature HERE and watch the videoHERE.

The Accidentals are Katie Larson (bass, guitar, piano, cello, vocals), Savannah Buist (bass, guitar, piano, violin, vocals) and Michael Dause (drums, guitar, backing vocals), and Parking Lot tells the powerful story of coming of age and coming home. The EP is a compilation of moments over the last three years, from college applications ("The End") and commercialism ("Epitaphs"), to the band's first trip to SXSW ("Sixth Street"). The title track is about the struggle to break through in the music industry and the talented people who never see the light. It later became an inside joke with the under-age band that was left out in the parking lot until stage-time on many occasions.

A bonus version of "Parking Lot" features wordsmith Rick Chyme, whose lyric is the perfect message of the song's frustrations - "Push it past potential each day, manifest your dreams."
