Southern-born Broadway veterans Tad Wilson and Jessica Phillips come together to explore their Tennessee roots in a concert of Today's Country Music on February 13 at 9:30 PM at The Triad Theatre on 158 West 72nd Street.

Directed by Billy Porter and musically directed by Mary Mitchell-Campbell, Phillips and Wilson depict a perfect musical marriage of North and South, giving storytelling and passion a new voice in Crossover Country with a night of original tunes and the songs of some of today's hottest country artists. For the first time ever, witness this brilliant collaboration and experience a rare New York musical treat.

Jessica Phillips can currently be seen on Broadway as Marion in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. She was an Original Broadway Cast member of the Tony Award winning musical next to normal, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Scarlet Pimpernel (vers. 1, 2 & 3) and toured the globe as Mrs. Walker in The Who's Tommy. A Nashville native, Jessica returned home in 1999 to star opposite Jonathan Pierce In Joseph... Dreamcoat (TN Rep) and stayed on for five years as a radio guest and demo singer in Nashville, Atlanta and Athens, GA. She is thrilled to get back to her Grand Old Opry roots with her best pal, Tad Wilson.

Tad Wilson is currently on Broadway in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Other Credits include Rock of Ages, Wonderland, Les MIserables, The Full Monty and The Civil War. He had the opportunity to join Larry Gatlin and Trisha Yearwood as well as many of his Broadway friends on stage for the Ford's Theatre Concert for the President featuring the music of The Civil War by Frank Wildhorn. Tad got his professional start as a performer at Opryland USA and the GenerAl Jackson Showboat. While there he had the opportunity to share the stage with many of the amazing country artists on the Grand Old Opry including Johnny Cash and Roy Acuff. He is excited to have found a kindred spirit in such a talented partner as Jessica Phillips.
