Steven Blane Returns With New Album I WALK ALONE

After the success of his album So New York, in August 2018, Blane returned to his blend of retro rock and Americana. On April 16th, Steven Blane released his latest full-length album I Walk Alone. This project saw Steven Blane challenge himself as an artist. Always producing original works, Blane took it a step further - from playing the instruments to mixing and mastering, this body of work was a one-man show. "It is the truest realization of my artistry to date," Steven says.

Steven writes and performs in multiple genres (Americana, Pop, Jazz, Country). This multiplicity has been seen throughout Blane's 7 other official releases, including his acclaimed album, Motel Blue, which featured Nashville recording artist Rachel Horter on vocals and Ross Holmes on Fiddle.

The Huffington Post has praised his range stating, "stylistically, Blane fits in the Americana category. But there's more going on in his music than simply Americana. There's a pop influence in there, along with a 1950's rock vibe that gives his sound a unique signature. It's much different from the usual run-of-the-mill stuff most bands turn out today."

It is no surprise that Blane has been able to transition so smoothly into his one-man production as seen with I Walk Alone. As a multi-instrumentalist and having a past in audio production, this project has been the necessary step for Blane to really come into himself as an artist.

I Walk Alone is an album comprised of 60's rock n' roll, jazz and features his staple songwriting that has encapsulates his audiences over the years. Be sure to check it out and stay tuned for more from Steven Blane!
