Denver-based singer/songwriter Drew Schofield has seen a fair share of success since the launch of his music career in late 2012. In March of 2013, Drew was hand-selected by Grammy Award Winning producer John Shanks as a top 10 finalist for the Guitar Center Singer Songwriter 2 competition. The recognition helped open new doors for touring, including solo tours to northern CA and NY/PA. During one such trip to San Francisco, Schofield was fortunate enough to share the stage with Grammy Award winner John Mayer during a special appearance at Hotel Utah. Just months later, Drew was selected as the winner in Southwest Airlines' "Take the Stage in Music City" national music competition.

Drew Schofield's latest release, "150 Million (-1)," being released August 22, 2014 is a collection of songs on various social justice themes, especially highlighting the cause of international adoption. Schofield hosted a successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, raising over $10,000. All funds raised in advance as well as all future sales have been dedicated to Project: Home, a new non-profit being established by Drew and his wife Chelsea. Project: Home hopes to help raise awareness, funding, and resources for individuals and couples who wish to help make an impact in the 150 million orphans across the world through adoption. The money raised so far is enabling the Schofields to complete their adoption of a little girl from Uganda, thus the significance of the EP title, "150 Million (-1)."

LaunchPad Studios in Arvada, CO was a significant contributor to the EP project, offering their recording, mixing, and mastering services at a fraction of retail value as a statement of support for the Schofields' efforts with Project: Home.

Fellow Denver-based singer/songwriters Dave Preston, Lindsey Saunders, Megan Burtt and Andy Palmer contributed their talents to the EP, and the record is a testament to Drew's continued growth as a vocalist and songwriter. "It just feels right to use my music to bring people together and make a difference in the world," says Schofield.

Drew Schofield has elected to release a single, "Open Season," a month ahead of the EP release, and it can be purchased now on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby and many other online stores.
