Out singer-songwriter Matt Zarley has just released the video for "I Just Knew," the lead track from his forthcoming album and musical short film hopefulROMANTIC. The project is a universal story about loving, letting go, and holding onto faith that there's somebody for everybody.
Watch the video for "I Just Knew" here hopefulROMANTIC, the album, will be released on February 10, 2015. hopefulROMANTIC, the film, due early next year, is a unique and practically dialogue-free narrative articulated solely through Matt Zarley and collaborator Andy Zulla ("Smash") 's soulful pop score. It co-stars Chuck Saculla (featured in this video), Jolie Jenkins and George Takei. The film and its songs merge Zarley's love of pop music and musical theatre into a cohesive whole. Each song is one part of a narrative trajectory that tells the story of one man's journey through love, heartbreak, and healing. "I Just Knew" is the beginning of that journey.
