Simple Gifts to Play Broadway Theatre of Pitman This August

2 women + 12 instruments = 1 enriching night of music! The award-winning duo Simple Gifts performs a variety of ethnic folk music, blending different cultural styles with their American roots. They will appear at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman on Sunday, August 28th at 2 p.m.

Simple Gifts skillfully creates some of the finest arrangements in folk music today. Their music sheds light on Romanian, Klezmer, Greek, Irish, Scottish and Appalachian styles, among many more. With an assortment of musical styles comes the need for a variety of instrumentation - and the two instrumentalists are prepared to deliver! The women switch with ease among the fiddle, mandolin, banjo, recorders, bowed psaltery, hammered dulcimer, baritone fiddle, guitar and percussion.
