Seattle Men's Chorus & Seattle Women's Chorus Welcome Special Guest Randy Rainbow

400 members of Seattle Men's Chorus (SMC) and Seattle Women's Chorus (SWC) join together in song at McCaw Hall for Not In Our Town on April 7, 2018 at 8pm and April 8, 2018 at 2pm. New York-based comedian and YouTube sensation Randy Rainbow is making his Seattle debut as the special guest for both performances. In addition to live performances of his wildly popular parody videos, Rainbow will sing hit songs with the Choruses, including the Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning song "This is Me" from The Greatest Showman.

This special unity concert brings together the combined forces of SWC and SMC to confront the rising tide of intolerance in our country. Local musical and gospel performers lend their talents for powerful songs including a tour de force musical theatre piece from the creators of Ragtime about the history of civil rights in America. Not In Our Town salutes the welcoming values of Seattle with inspiring stories of equality as well as songs of celebration including Katy Perry's "Firework," Pink's "Raise Your Glass" and Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody."

The Annual FREE Family Concert is at McCaw Hall on Saturday April 7 at 2pm. Enjoy an afternoon for music-lovers, big and small with our region's largest singing ensembles and guest performers from the Washington Middle School choir. This one-hour concert features family-friendly songs from Katy Perry, Whitney Houston, The Wizard of Oz, and Broadway's Dear Evan Hansen. Sing along, move about, and dance in the aisles of Seattle's enormous McCaw Hall as you experience this fun, free, family celebration! The internationally renowned Seattle Men's Chorus (founded 1979) and Seattle Women's Chorus (founded 2002) comprise the largest community choral organization in North America. Both choruses stand out as the largest LGBTQ-identified men's and women's choruses in the world.
