Rosemary Loar, Jeff Macauley & More Set for MUSIC AT THE MANSION, 2/23

NiCori Studios and Productions in association with Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, "Music at the Mansion", on Sunday, February 23, at 3pm. Performers include Jeff Macauley, The Ted and Lo Show and Rosemary Loar. The featured performer in the "Young Musician Moment" will be Julia Maskin.

Jeff Macauley is a Backstage Bistro Award winning cabaret singer whose currently showcasing the lyrics of Norman Gimbel in his tribute It Was Me. This show garnered Jeff Macauley a nomination for the 2012 Broadwayworld.com Cabaret Award for Best Male Vocalist. The show has been performed in both Los Angeles and New York since August, 2012. In his previous shows, Jeff Macauley explored the rich world of early musical films in Hollywood Party-Movie Songs 1928-1936, and paid tribute to the most popular female singer of the 40?s and a beloved Hollywood icon in MWAH! The Dinah Shore Show, for which he received Backstage magazine's Bistro Award.

Ted Stafford and Lorinda Lisitza started performing their debut show in 2012 and were thrilled to win the 2013 MAC Award for Best Duo/ Group. Lorinda is from Canada and Ted is from Wisconsin, which is kind of the same, except Ted has always had better access to cheese. Rosemary Loar was seen on BROADWAY in You Can't Take It With You, CATS (Grizabella), Chess, Sunset Boulevard and Once Upon A Mattress. She was in the national tours of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Godspell and 42nd Street. Rosemary appeared in HBO's Show Stoppers starring Mary Martin and Ethel Merman. Rosemary performed in the PBS-TV production, New Year's Eve with Guy Lombardo, at Town Hall (Cabaret Convention), and Carnegie Hall (concert version of Chess). She has performed her many cabaret acts in NYC, LA, Chicago and Munich, Germany.

Ms. Loar's musical Spoolie Girl won best music and lyrics for the MITF Festival. Rosemary has 5 CD's available on iTunes.

"Music at the Mansion" is a 2013 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) award nominated series showcasing talented performers from NYC and NJ. The series is hosted by NYC Cabaret singer and Bloomfield resident Corinna Sowers-Adler and will feature Deborah Martin on piano. This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts and administered by the Essex County Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs. Series hostess, Corinna Sowers-Adler, has been nominated as "Best Host of a Variety Show" and "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 Broadway World Cabaret Awards. Sowers-Adler recently made her Lincoln Center debut in the 24th Annual Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention. She will debut at BROADWAY's Supper Club - 54 BELOW on May 6th at 9:30pm. Corinna also performs her solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart and Let Me Sing and I'm Happy at venues and private parties in New York City, New Jersey and down the east coast .

Tickets for "Music at the Mansion" are $10 per person and are available at the door. Seating begins at 2:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.
