Rock N' Roll Veterans One Less Reason Release Video for 'Break Me'
By: Caryn Robbins Aug. 19, 2016
Veteran Rock band One Less Reason has released a redemptive and emotional new video for "Break Me" with an Exclusive Premiere @ Loudwire. They are simultaneously releasing new album "The Memories Uninvited". The band is prepping for upcoming tour dates with Sick Puppies.
The video storyline is that of a young woman who has lost her mother, and feels adrift. She and her father are both struggling with the loss, and grow apart. The young woman uses MMA as a way to deal with her grief and grow stronger and is upset that her father is not accepting who she is and supporting her. The culmination of the video shows the father and daughter finding their way back to each other in the redemptive power of mutual respect and love.
The video was produced, written and directed by Tattooed Millionaire Records' John Falls (Egypt Central) and the band's Blake Heimbach and Cris Brown. Principle scenes in the video were shot in Memphis, TN, where the band is based, at the Memphis International Raceway and historic Elmwood Cemetery. In describing the track Cris Brown says "Lyrics to me should be universal. They should apply to anybody based on what it is they're going through - their thought processes at the time. We all, as people, have human conditions to associate things that are going on with us and what we're focused on at the time. 'Break Me' is about somebody helping you pick up the pieces that fall behind whenever you're broken. Sometimes it takes a lot of people to pick up your pieces, no matter what that is; whether it's drug problems, or relationship problems, or political, or whatever it is. We all need help along the way".KHTQ's 94.5 "Too Broke To Rock" Show (Album Release Party)
