On Saturday, May 11 at 8:00pm (doors open 7:30) please join music lovers from across Long Island as LAWN BOYS: A Tribute to Phish headlines the next installment of the Gold Coast Acoustic Café Series, happening several times a year at the Great Neck Arts Center, located at 113 Middle Neck Road, Great Neck, NY.

The Lawn Boys are four musicians and Phish fans who are dedicated to spreading the joy and excitement of the live Phish experience. Combining accuracy and musicianship with whimsical performance, the Lawn Boys seek to light up clubs and venues the way Phish did when they played intimate settings. The rich history of Phish's career and the part it played in the Lawn Boys' lives inspires them to recreate the sound, look, and feel of those amazing performances. The Lawn Boys are Darren Rodney - Guitar & Vocals, Brad Weiger - Bass & Vocals, Andrew Mega - Drums & Vocals, and Shoheen Owhady - Keys & Vocals. Opening act is Cavity Search.

Admission to this event costs $15 in advance or at the door for General admission at 7:30pm. There will also be refreshments available for purchase including a cash bar for beer and wine. Tickets can be bought online at http://www.greatneckarts.org or in person at the Great Neck Arts Center. Use the rear entrance on Maple Drive please!

The Gold Coast Acoustic Café is produced by Great Neck Arts Center and Love Revolution Org and is sponsored in part by Richland Management Company, Little Neck Beverage, All Music Inc, Starbucks and Westy's Storage. Past shows have included Vista Hill and Charlie Dane, A Tribute to Radio DJ Pete Fornatale, a Rolling Stones and a Johnny Cash Tribute band, a performance by 60's rock musician John Ford and the popular inaugural Your Big Break local artist showcase. All funds raised go to support the School for the Arts, Scholarship Program, and Outreach Program, which currently serves thousands of students in the region. Look for more upcoming shows in the series coming to the Great Neck Arts Center this fall.
