Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel (Chairman of the Galbani Italian Feast of San Gennaro) and Adam Carolla, LPJ and his wild band headlined at the packed VIP-only Opening Night Fundraising Gala. Celebs such as Dr. Drew Pinsky, Jeffrey Ross, Dominic Monaghan and Joe Mantegna were among some of the notable attendees. "Prima Notte" was followed by a performance for fans on Friday night, September 28.

Just like the 80-plus year old New York City tradition, the event-launched by some of L.A.'s most prominent Italian-Americans in 2002-is a celebration of Italian culture, food and entertainment featuring live music, street performers, strolling musicians, a kid's corner and many rides and games. Return of the Wildest! is Prima Jr.'s independent debut CD distributed by Warrior Records/Universal Music Distribution and has been racking up glowing reviews and praise from critics and fans alike since its release this summer. Next week, Prima Jr. and The Band head to Prima Jr.'s former hometown of New Orleans for a series of shows in the region October 4-6, followed by performances in Destin, Fla. (October 7) and Biloxi, Miss. (October 10).
