New Song from TWEEDY 'Summer Noon' Now Available

A new song by Tweedy, the musical duo featuring Wilco's Jeff Tweedy and his 18-year-old son Spencer Tweedy, is available now on, iTunes and Amazon. "Summer Noon" is from Tweedy's forthcoming album Sukierae, which is available for pre-order now and sees release on dBpm Records on Sept. 23. "Summer Noon" is also featured on the soundtrack to the anticipated Richard Linklater film Boyhood (Nonesuch Records, July 8). In anticipation of Sukierae's release dBpm will debut one new track per week, everyMonday, for the next eight weeks. Each track will be available for individual purchase ($1.29 per song) upon release or free to anyone who pre-orders Sukierae before its official Sept. 23 on-sale date. Pre-sale purchasers automatically receive each track as it becomes available, and will automatically receive all of the tracks released prior to their purchase date.

Jeff Tweedy is currently on tour, backed by a full band that includes Spencer on drums plus Jim Elkington on guitar, Darin Gray on bass and Liam Cunningham on keyboards. The band will perform "Summer Noon" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon onJuly 24. A full list of tour dates follows.
