Lil Uzi Vert Revealed As First Headliner For Fresh Island 2019

Lil Uzi Vert has been revealed as the first headliner for Fresh Island 2019. The American rapper will be joined by a host of UK acts including Yxng Bane, Hardy Caprio, and B Young to perform in front of thousands of urban music lovers across the backdrop of the Adriatic sea. Plus, the legendary Tim Westwood returns and leading tastemaker DJ, DJ Semtex will also take the decks.

One of summer's most hotly anticipated European festivals, Fresh Island continues to produce an outstanding line-up. Taking over Zrce Beach across three open-air clubs, the festival includes boat parties, pool parties, and much more. American rapper Lil Uzi Vert has quickly become one of the biggest names in new age hip-hop. Gaining recognition from his Luv Is Rage mixtape in 2015, Vert went on to feature on Migos' Bad and Boujee, before landing his hit single XO TOur Llif3 in 2017. Set to release an album in 2019, Vert's performance is set to be pure fire.

Some of the hottest names in the UK urban music scene will also be heading to the Croatian shores this summer. Showcasing the signature sounds the UK currently has to offer, the likes of Hardy Caprio with hits including Best Life and Needed Time, along with B Young with 079ME and Jumanji, will take to the Fresh Island stage for unmissable performances.

Hailed as one of the UK's most exciting talents, Yxng Bane will be putting on a special performance at Fresh Island 2019. With hit singles, Vroom, Problem, and Needed Time, the artist who has previously featured on Drake's More Life mixtape will show why he's not slowing down anytime soon.

Tim Westwood will also be returning to Fresh Island for the fifth time, for his renowned pool party. Becoming one of the highlights of the week, Westwood will play the best in urban music from hip-hop, grime, dancehall, and R&B. Joining him will be fellow Capital Xtra DJ, DJ Semtex who will also be showing why he is one of the best in the game.

Making sure the parties continue throughout the week are the UK's finest DJ crews including Shorebitch, Faded, Cheese On Bread and Good Dirty Sounds.

Fresh Island 2019 will take over the huge open-air clubs of Aquarius, Kalypso, Papaya and Rocks Club on Zrce Beach during the week of July 13th - 19th, with main stage performances taking place 15th-17th July.
