Celebrating their 20th anniversary as modern day rulers of old school funk, Lettuce appears in the Egyptian Ballroom at the Fox Theatre on Wednesday, October 15 at 9 p.m. Presented by Live for Live Music, tickets are on sale now at www.FoxTheatre.org, by calling 855-285-8499, or at the Fox Theatre ticket office. Advance tickets are $22.50, and tickets purchased on the day of the show are $25.

Drawing on a range of styles that can be traced from the early '60s through the early '80s (incorporating plenty of modern hip-hop sensibilities-heavy bass, kick, and snare-along the way), Lettuce is taking audiences to the cosmos with a high-octane show.

"We're more together and set to crush than ever before," says drummer and chief songwriter Adam Deitch of the group that he and his band mates formed back in their Berklee College of Music days.

That much history, along with the A-list projects that each member has taken on away from Lettuce, gives the group a bottomless well of musical ideas and unrivaled chemistry.

Lettuce recently released a limited edition '45 featuring "Don't Be Afraid To Try" with singer Alecia Chakour (who is also touring with the band), and they're recording a new full-length record this fall.
