A new social media image has emerged of the leading lady of FOX's hit musical dramedy series GLEE, Lea Michele - aka Rachel Berry - in an exact replica of one of the most iconic looks of her idol and all-around inspiration, the one and only stage and screen legend Barbra Streisand.

Michele dons a spangled pantsuit (with matching floppy tie) strikingly similar to that worn by Streisand herself when accepting her Best Actress Academy Award back in 1969 for FUNNY GIRL (a prize she shared with Katharine Hepburn for THE LION IN WINTER, incidentally).

Michele shared the shot herself via her very active Twitter and Instagram accounts this weekend, writing, "Tonight on the set of #Glee @BarbraStreisand," along with the candid pic side-by-side with one of Streisand.

Reportedly, Michele-as-Berry tributes Streisand in the ninth entry of Season Five, titled "Frenemies, which will be the first episode to air after the Glee hiatus running from December 5 through the end of February.

GLEE airs Thursdays at 9 PM on FOX.
