Kansas City Artist JayCee Shares His Latest Single 'Short Tale'

Kansas City-born, Phoenix-based rapper JayCee recently shared his latest single "Short Tale". The new single by JayCee is currently available to stream and download through Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes. Kansas City native JayCee, has exceeded all expectations. He gives credit to his life experiences and has been using song writing as an escape since the age of six. Since then, JayCee has participated in the Kansas City Music Jam hosted by Anax Studios in March of 2016. He has also finished as a finalist in the Soul Lounge Open Mic Night and was "slapped" on D.C.'s and KC's "Slap It or Trash It Shows" in July 2017. After watching JayCee's Open Mic performance, Soul Lounge's owner stated he would "sign [JayCee] today" if he had a record label.

After releasing his new single "Short Tale" on July 7th 2017, he has created quite the buzz. One week after the release, JayCee's Facebook following increased by 58% over night and it continues to grow rapidly. In August 2017, JayCee walked away victorious in the Coast 2 Coast LIVE's Kansas City Showcase. His first place win insured a spot to compete in the worldwide Coast2Coast competition in September 2018. In upcoming events, he is working on his new album and plans to drop tracks in the meantime.

JayCee has recently relocated to Phoenix, AZ, which brings him that much closer to fulfilling his aspirations of living in California. It is his dream to make a living through his first love, music.
